NIM publications focus on popularizing knowledge about museums, museum holdings, public collections and historic artefacts as well as on defining and disseminating standards in the field of museology and collection stewardship, in the process of shaping public awareness on the value of cultural heritage and its preservation.
NIM publications are published in several series, such as: NIM Library, NIM Trainings, Collection Stewardship, Museum Statistics, and Collection Management. NIM publishes also periodicals: “Muzealnictwo” (Museology) scientific annual and “Cenne, Bezcenne/Utracone” (Valuable, Priceless/Lost) as well as foreign-language publications.
