NIM manages the grant programme Development of museum collections (the goal of which is to support the growth of museum collections by acquiring cultural heritage objects).
Additionally, the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport appointed NIM to manage and coordinate the programme Support for museum activities (under which financial support is available for the organisation of exhibitions, conservation of collections, publication of exhibition or collection catalogues and purchase of conservation equipment).
