Among Poland’s many cultural institutions, museums play a special role in the cultural heritage protection system.
Over the years they have systematically built collections featuring items of outstanding artistic, historical and scientific value. The history of almost every type of human activity is reflected in museum collections. The fundamental tasks of a museum are to assemble, analyse and provide access to its collections. As developments are made in science and technology, so the ways in which we can access museum collections evolve. Whatever form this access assumes, it must, however, ensure a proper level of protection and security for the whole collection. Museums are assisted in finding optimum solutions by the National Institute for Museums. Every project of a security system to be installed in a museum must be consulted with the Institute. We work directly with museums, providing consulting and advisory services.
